Could there be some problems afterwards ?

After some treatments, especially treatments where the teeth get sleeved : dental crown, veneer, zirconium crown, and or replacement fillings, it could be, that the treated tooth or teeth become sensitive. This sentivity may last from 3 weeks up to 8 weeks and gone byhimself. In some cases it could be, that the treated tooth will need an additional root canal treatment. Unfortunately, this can not be foreseen before the treatment starts and it is depending on the patients dental-situation. It is not a failure of the treatment. The root canal treatment can be performed in our clinic or by a local dentist and an additional charge will be made for it.

Another unlikely point after the treatment could be that a fixed crown could fall out.  This problem may be caused by a drop of saliva coming between the fixing material and the crown/veneer during the fixing procedure.  Obviously this is not easy to control even in a controlled situation.  This is not a sign of bad quality treatment, as the quality of the materials used can be easily verified.  Unfortunately this is uncontrollable.  However, should this situation occur we offer a reimbursement of 25 Euros.  The unfixed crown/veneer can then be refixed by your local dentist, a 10 minute procedure, and we just ask that you send us the bill.

It is important to us that our patients understand that these problems up to now have only occurred in 3% of  our patients and that this could happen anywhere to anyone. We do not see any reason to hide this from our patients even if this situation is a small possibility. All our patients should know that these are not serious problems and can be easily solved.

Finally, these problems could still have occurred if you had had your treatment at home, whereas you have saved more than  80% on the cost of your dental work compared to other European Countries.

Our Clinic does not guarantee quality if

• Patient does not appear for consultation every 6 mounth.
• Patient's oral hygiene is neglected.
• Denture, Implant is not used properly.
• Denture, Implant is not cleaned with dental cleaning supplies and tools.
• Denture, Implant, Venner, Crown gets injured due to reasons that we can not take responsibility for (e.g. falls down, fight, accident or other events caused by drugs, alcohol or other materials resulting in mental dysfunction).
• Denture, Implant, Venner, Crown gets infected because of smoking or any other tabaco products
• Diseases of masticatory apparatus caused by general, infectious diseases, tumors, poisonings etc. or the treatment of these illnesses, or accidents, modifications that come up during emergency interventions and that affect the performed dental treatment.
• Patient looses significant weight in a short period of time.
• Problems caused by psychic or other mental disorders, illnesses.
• Problem caused by a another dentist
• If the patient let do any work by another dentist or dental hospital
